Is it worth building a website using Wix?

Wix and other such companies offer a great service for those with just a basic knowledge of website design. But building a website for your business is a lot more than just designing a cool looking website. You need to consider SEO and how you design your website to optimise the SEO ,you need to maintain a consistent and concise brand structure as well as following your brands guidelines. Lets look at the pros and cons.
The Pros & Cons To Using Wix & Other Such Services To Build Your Website...
Pros
Quick and easy to build a website that can be on the great world wide web just as quick.
These services are usually very cheap and that's great when running a small business with tight budgets.
All the artwork is there for you, premade forms and other elements all premade to add to your site.
Cons
You're very limited to what the software will let you do when it comes to design. And in most cases, websites actually use custom made CSS/HTML coded elements to function as you would want them to.
There's nobody to guid you through processes such as SEO (to boost your rankings on search engines), brand consistency or trending concepts that engage with the end user.
These sites never function the way you originally intended them to. No fault of the companies themselves, its just down to a lack of knowledge on the users part. We all have our niche and if you want what you want, it will cost the extra.
Conclusion
You get what you pay for, if you want a quick, simple and easy fix, that's what you get. But if you want a professional website that will be engaging for the end users and offer everything you need it to... It will be far more profitable (long term) to have an experienced website designer do it for you.
